Do you love pop music? That’s great. Here we would like to find out the top 5 pop music numbers that are doing great in different music charts across the world in last couple of weeks. The top artist who has been rocking different music charts across the world for last 12 weeks is Pink. This pop powerhouse performer has been around since late ’90s but in the primary days she was taken just as another pop artist. But now, the weather has changed in her favor. Her move from a local ‘Club Fever’ to the international arena is unbelievable. Anyways, “So What” from her latest and fifth studio album “Funhouse” is the top number that has acquired the top position in different music charts of 11 countries across the world. And this is the most successful solo number in her music career.
The next number in the list is Katy Perry with her ‘Hot n Cold’ from her latest album “One of the Boys”, released on 17th June, 2008 in US and Canada. The magical combination of cheeky music and commercial pop are doing great in different top pop music charts across the globe. The debut album has already sold 749,000+ copies in different parts of the world and it is certified Gold in US.
The next in the list is TI with his song “Whatever You Like” from the album “Paper Trail” released on 30th September, 2008. “Paper Trail” is his sixth studio album. Though the release was delayed for a few times, it sold more than 357,000 copies in USA within three days of its release! Though “Paper Trail” released on 30th September, the song “Whatever You Like” was first released on 16th July. Though the music have some similarities with Lil Wayne’s song “Lollipop” (both of them have same producer – Jim Jonsin), it did great in different top pop music charts around the world. By the way, did you listen to the parody of the song recorded by “Weird Al” Yankovic!
In the fourth position we have Leona Lewis’ ‘Better in Time’ from her debut album “Spirit” released on 8th April, 2008. It doesn’t matter if her strong voice reminds you of young Whitney Houston, the winner of The X Factor (the British reality talent show – third series) is doing great in different parts of the world. And do you remember that it ranked top in Billboard top 200 music charts on 26th April! It has own many critics due to its elegant melody, emotive voice quality and lyric – across the world.
In the fifth position we have “Womanizer” by Britney Spears. The song was initially recorded for her forthcoming album “Circus” and was released on 7th October 2008 in USA through digital distribution. Though this song received some mixed reviews from critics, it has been doing great in different music charts across the web. Some people say that it is Britney magic that is working the way to the top for last 5 weeks.
